A Moment Captured For A Lifetime ...

I love seeing life through a lens ... to be able to capture a moment in time that lasts a lifetime.

I have been doing photography for a few years now but I have taken it more seriously over the past four years. I enjoy all subjects within photography but my main two passions are portraiture and creative photography. I also enjoy doing self portraits, it is great fun dressing up and not being myself, it also helps me to concentrate more on getting an image within the frame.

I joined the Kings Lynn Camera Club in September 2008, I enter most of the in house competitions which I enjoy taking part. In April 2009 I was elected as the first female Vice Chairperson which I was pleased to axcept in April 2010 I was elected the first female Chairperson which I was truly overwhelmed with, I decided April 2011 to stand down as Chairperson so I could concentrate more on my own photography and move forward as a business.

Since I have joined the Camera Club I have won two competition the first was in September 2009 where I won the trophy for "Print of the Year" and the second was March 2011 were I also won the trophy for the Portraiture Competition.

Through my four years of doing photography I have been fortunate enough to gain places in worldwide magazines and websites. I have also exhibited my work five times and have sold my work worldwide.

I have also been seen in the "Digital Camera" magazine four times one of which was a two page spread on how I took one of my photographs with techniques and images which looked great when it was published.

I also entered a Fujifilm On-Line Competition in February 2009 the theme was called "Bright Lights" there were 1,642 entries and I received 1st place which won me a lovely Fujifilm camera.

I also do an On-Line photographic journal on a daily basis, Channel4 contacted the owner and asked if they could use one of my self portraits on their website, I was seen on Channel4's web page called "4Beauty" under the section called "Well Being" in July 2010.

I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I did taking them.
